- ★ ★ ★ ★ ★I LOVE Bank of the West. I've been with them since they took over from UCB (United California Bank), I think in the 70s! They go above and beyond to help you both in your daily dealings and special situations that arise. I had a cashier's check from a very large stock brokerage firm (UBS) and my husband's bank wanted to hold the funds 7 days. Bank of the West made an exception and put it right through! Now, my husband's account is also with Bank of the West.). They have brains, compassion, business understanding and know what customer service is!By Cathy Hendrickson, March 31, 2017
